Computer Society of India (CSI):
JNTUK UCEV, Vizianagaram is having CSI Institutional membership for 10 ½ years and CSI-JNTUKUCEV-Student Branch was established in the year 2014, with 247 student members. Dr. A S N Chakravarthy, of C S E has been nominated as Student Branch coordinator.
The Aim of JNTUKUCEV-Student Branch is to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT Professionals, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. It is actively involved in conducting technical seminars, workshops, lectures and industrial visits. The invitees are eminent professors, IT executives, practicing professionals and other prominent visitors.

IN ASSOCIATION WITH
IEEE STUDENT CHAPTER
IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE’s highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
IEEE, via its different bodies, organizes numerous conferences and meetings on a worldwide range of topics. Through the student activities committee, IEEE facilitates partnerships between students and other IEEE entities.

Poster Presentation Event is conducted in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering as a part of EclEctiquE 2K20, a Two-day National Level Technical Symposium, in association with IEEE on 11 February 2020 in the Drawing Hall-1 of Academic Block-, JNTUK-UCEV.
A poster presentation is a way of communicating one's research or understanding of a topic in a short and concise format. It usually includes two elements - a poster and a brief explanation. Participants need to analyze and evaluate information, synthesize ideas, and creatively demonstrate his/her understanding of a topic or the findings of their research. Poster presentations develop the ability to communicate perceptively and concisely - an important
workplace skill.
Sri. Prasanna Kumar, Ms. Ch. Sravani, Assistant Engineers of Electrical Power Transmission and Distribution Company are invited as judges for this event. They have judged all the presentations and announced the best presenters of the event.
ME-DEPARTMENT-Professional chapter: INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS (INDIA)
The student chapter of Institution of Engineers is attached to the department. The chapter is functioning actively from the past few years and with association of IE(I) Vizag Chapter the department is continuously organizing good number of useful programs in advanced areas of research. Many of the faculty members of the department are the life members and fellows of IE(I).
