I wish to introduce you about our department of ECE, which was established during 2007 under combined JNTU with a UG programme. Subsequently one PG programme was started during 2014 under JNTUK. The department has well qualified faculty with FOUR doctorates in the fields of Electronics and Communication engineering, having rich experience and expertise to nurture students towards their career perspectives.
Our students are involved with lot of extra-curricular activities to improve life skills in addition to regular academics. Our faculty are involved with research and producing PhDs in addition to regular teaching activities. We have MOU with TCS to train students to be industry ready under TAAP-CSR. We are striving to get more MOUs with core companies like BSNL and Effotronics to help students for their internships and placements.
Over the period, our ECE department has grown up with reputed ALUMNI, working at national and state level industries, like in Airport authority of India, Research institutes like SAMEER, and at DRDO, NSTL etc., which are coming in core placements with good packages. Some of them are going for PG studies to IITs, NITs and some others are studying in abroad.
Our department has been involved in conducting student training workshops and faculty training workshops and conferences in up bringing the skills required to meet global challenges
I hope and wish in coming years our department will strive to be the best among the peers!
