Focused on key areas in AI, machine learning, and computer vision, exploring topics such as the research aspects of machine learning, practical implementation using Python programming, and the future-shaping potential of deep learning and machine vision. My work mainly delved into the evolving role of computer vision in the AI landscape, highlighting the synergy between machine learning and visual perception in AI advancements. Additionally, examined the cutting edge progress in deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision, and discussed how these technologies are poised to transform the future, aligning
with the latest trends in computer science and AI development.
Deep Neural Networks: Present years are the exciting times for handwritten character recognition in the fields of Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision. Handwritten character recognition using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks is a new era. There are various techniques available for handwritten recognition of characters, depending on hand-designed features. I am concentrating on designing a systematic method to recognize both offline and online Telugu handwritten characters with residual learning framework called ResNet-18, ResNet-34, and ResNet-50. A residual learning network is a concept of deeper neural networks where the training of the data in more effective. ResNet enables building very deep networks by addressing the vanishing gradient problem that occurs in deep convolutional neural networks.
Detection of Spam images using Machine Learning and DeepCNN: Recently, Hackers and spammers employs innovative and novel practices to mislead novice and even knowledgeable internet users. Image spam is one of such technique where the spammers change a little portion of the image such that it is impossible to differentiate from the original image fooling the users. I am concentrating on machine learning techniques like Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Support Vector Machines (SVM) for detecting spam images. Moreover my aim is to develop a robust and efficient approach for image spam detection using DeepCNN.
Working with Decision Support Systems like AHP, MCDM, SAW, Grey Clustering etc.
Smart Cities selection with MCDM Methods: Since the globalization and liberalization of the Indian economy in the '90s, Indian cities have seen accelerated economic and social growth, which has attracted more and more people from all parts of the country. As a result, urban India is now grappling with issues like overpopulation and strained infrastructure, which have affected the quality of life. We believe the time has come for India to leverage the existing technological tools to develop new smart cities and transform existing ones, and unleash their true potential as centres of opportunity. Growth achieved by cities is linked to their ability to address issues related to urbanization and associated social, environmental and economic issues in a holistic manner, while making the most of future opportunities. The smart city concept can be looked upon as a framework for implementing this vision of advanced and modern urbanization. According to the Smart Cities Mission statement, such urban areas must feature all core infrastructure required for citizens to have a decent quality of life and a sustainable environmental footprint, which includes assured water and electricity supplies, efficient sanitation, solid waste management and public transport, adequate healthcare and education facilities and affordable housing, along with robust information technology connectivity for citizen participation in community matters and improved local governance. My aim is to focus on identifying the cities is one of the important decisions to be made because of its growth and conditions. This decision requires the selection of the city as smart city with different criteria which are specified above, handled with the Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods.
Intrusion Detection System: An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a network security technology originally built for detecting vulnerability exploits against a target application or computer. Modern networked business environments require a high level of security to ensure safe and trusted communication of information between various organizations. It acts as an adaptable safeguard technology for system security after traditional technologies fail. Cyber attacks will only become more sophisticated, so it is important that protection technologies adapt along with their threats. My research mainly focus on significant Machine Learning algorithms like J48, Random Forest, Decision Tree, MLP, Naive Bayes, and Bayes Network and Dealing with meta-heuristic algorithm and different performance metrics in order to enhance the detection rate of the intrusion detection system.
My current research and development activities are focused on harnessing advanced computational techniques and artificial intelligence to solve complex problems across various domains. One of the primary areas of my research is in the application of deep learning methodologies, particularly convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs), for image processing and pattern recognition. I am working on developing sophisticated models for medical image segmentation, where techniques like UNet variants and transformers are used to improve accuracy in 3D medical image segmentation. Additionally, my research includes enhancing medical image retrieval and classification using optimized local directional Weber patterns combined with faster region convolutional neural networks. In the domain of currency recognition, my research is focused on developing robust models for currency classification and fake currency detection. This involves employing state-of-the-art deep learning models such as EfficientNet and MobileNet. I am also exploring the integration of multi-fusion techniques and inception models to enhance the detection accuracy and reliability of these systems.
Another significant area of my research is in the evaluation and analysis of websites. I am utilizing grey clustering theory combined with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and COPRAS-G methods to assess website quality and performance. This research aims to provide a comprehensive framework for selecting the best websites based on multiple criteria and improving user experience through better design and functionality. I am also delving into user behaviour analysis through web usage mining and grey relational pattern analysis with Markov chains. This research focuses on understanding and predicting user navigation behaviour on websites, which can help in optimizing web design and improving user engagement.
In the field of decision-making in medical sciences, I am developing fuzzy expert systems and utilizing grey relational analysis combined with Dempster-Shafer theory to aid in medical diagnoses and treatment planning. This includes analyzing prostate cancer risk and heart disease detection using various classification techniques. Lastly, I am involved in predictive analytics, focusing on key performance indicators in social media. By employing deep learning techniques, I aim to uncover valuable insights and trends that can help in strategic decision-making and improving social media engagement. These diverse research activities reflect my commitment to advancing the field of artificial intelligence and its applications, driving innovation, and solving real-world problems through cutting-edge technology.
