In today’s fast-paced world, Information Technology plays a vital role in shaping our nation’s future. Since its inception in 2007, the Department of Information Technology has grown significantly, establishing itself as a key player in the technological landscape. This remarkable progress is the result of our faculty’s unwavering dedication, our staff’s steadfast support, and our students’ enthusiastic engagement.
The Department offers a comprehensive array of programs, including undergraduate degrees like B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons., & Minor), a postgraduate degree in M.Tech (Data Science), and a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) in Information Technology. Our faculty are deeply committed to delivering high-quality education, combining their extensive research expertise with innovative teaching methods.
In keeping with contemporary educational trends, we are actively implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) to ensure our students are equipped to meet the demands of the future. Beyond the classroom, our students participate in a variety of co-curricular activities that enrich their educational experience.
As the field of Information Technology rapidly evolves, our Department is dedicated to expanding its Research and Development (R&D) initiatives, ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of innovation.
